Observatory and gondola unlock new experiences at Big Sky

The Kircliff observatory is the highest scenic overlook in Montana.

Visitors to Big Sky Resort in southwestern Montana can now experience the slopes and terrain in an entirely new way following the recent opening of a two-stage gondola and a glass-encased observatory at the peak of Lone Mountain.
