Seattle Center selects Space Needle company for retail refresh

The Thomas Street Gateway will include artist activations, performance spaces, shopping and food.

Space Needle LLC — run by the Howard S. Wright family — is on a roll. Last month came the announcement that it would buy another chunk of the nonprofit Pacific Science Center, adding to its holdings at and around Seattle Center.
