What’s a Shared Street? Think Pike Place — where pedestrians have long dominated over vehicle traffic.

New legislation recently approved by the Seattle City Council looks to rethink how some neighborhood streets are used by shifting the focus from a car-centered model toward more flexible, people-oriented public spaces.
