GGN to design Battery St. park

SEATTLE — The city of Seattle has selected GGN Landscape Architecture to design a new park at the site of the former Battery Street Tunnel in Belltown.

GGN will develop a concept design for the possible park, which could be built at the former opening for the tunnel that once connected to the old Alaskan Way Viaduct. The first phase will be developing a visioning process through public engagement.
