Meet IKE: digital kiosks make debut

SEATTLE — Today marks the grand unveiling of IKE, a new interactive kiosk at the corner of First Avenue and Pike Street in downtown Seattle.

IKE is short for Interactive Kiosk Experience. Operated by Orange Barrel Media, the touchscreen digital kiosk will display real-time information, wayfinding to help people navigate the city, and will recommend and direct people to nearby businesses. It will also display advertisements.
