Seattle Center throttles up on $23M monorail station modernization

The modernization will make the station fully accessible, with a new ramp connecting Thomas Street to the facility.

Construction started this month on a major renovation of the historic Seattle Center Monorail Station that will improve accessibility, increase capacity, and overall passenger experience at the iconic transit hub.
