New home for Jewish school takes shape next to Mercer Island synagogue

The site earlier this month.

Ground was broken in April on a new home for the Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle (JDS) on Mercer Island. The school is relocating from Bellevue to the Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation (HNT) campus at 3700 E. Mercer Way on Barnabie Point.
