Ballard Link DEIS out Dec. 11

SEATTLE — Sound Transit and the Federal Transit Administration will release the draft environmental impact statement for the Ballard Link Extension on Dec. 11. That will open a 60-day public comment period that runs through Feb. 9, 2027.

The DEIS examines the potential benefits and impacts of various route and station alternatives for the long-planned light rail expansion between downtown Seattle and Ballard.
