Project of the Month: Olympic College steps to the next level

The three-level Olympic College, Poulsbo, fits snugly into the hillside, with a dramatic exterior stairway that converges with the long building. Demand for jobs and office space on the Poulsbo campus is outstripping the supply.

Folksy Poulsbo, not far from the Agate Pass bridge on the Kitsap Peninsula, is becoming a college town. Olympic College has established a foothold there, and Miller|Hull's smart, sensitive design for the new satellite campus sets a high standard for the future. It will help to assure a happy, long-term relationship for institution and community.
