New service lets wireless calls ring on home phone

NEW YORK -- For anyone who answers their cell phone at home, here's an idea so simple it's hard to imagine why it took so long to arrive: Why not have your wireless calls automatically ring on your home phone whenever you're there?

The unique FastForward service from Cingular Wireless promises to do just that, rerouting all cellular calls to your home number whenever you drop your mobile handset into a special $40 cradle that doubles as a phone charger.
