Association of Washington Business

Tom Lemly, chair of the Association of Washington Business's human resources council, received the 2001 Fred Bruhn Award and Kathleen Collins received this year's Ron Gjerde Award. Lemly is a partner in the Davis Wright Tremaine law firm. Collins is a contract lobbyist in Olympia. The Bruhn Award honors Safeco senior vice president Fred Bruhn and is presented in recognition of board members who give of themselves to improve AWB and the business climate in Washington. The Gjerde Award honors the year's top business lobbyist.
