City of Seattle

The city of Seattle has launched a new Web portal page on its Web site to help people connect with the right volunteer program. Developed by the city's central Web team, the site brings together dozens of volunteer program links from virtually every city department or group, organized by areas of interest. The site also provides links to the many public councils and advisory boards sponsored by the city. The Web site can be found at http://www.cityofseattle.net/html/citizen/volunteer.htm.
