Verizon

Verizon has named Allan Thoms to the newly created position of vice president of public policy and external affairs for the Northwest region. Previously, Thoms was chairman of the Iowa Utilities Board. He will join the company Oct. 29 and be responsible for regulatory, governmental and external affairs in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
