Community Psychiatric Clinic

Community Psychiatric Clinic was recently chosen as a second place recipient of the 2001 Lilly Reintegration Awards in the housing category. The awards recognize the achievements of people and programs that provide support for those with schizophrenia and related disorders to reintegrate into their communities. In addition, the clinic’s Harbor House Safe Haven was one of only three safe havens chosen nationwide by the Office of Housing and Urban Development to be featured in a video documentary. The Community Psychiatric Clinic provides specialized housing for low-income mentally ill people, aiding the transition from the streets to housing at 38 locations in the Seattle area
