Health and Human Services

Carolyn L. Oakley has been appointed the secretary's regional representative for Region X in the office of Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy G. Thompson. She will be based in Seattle and oversee HHS policies and programs for Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Oakley previously served for 10 years as the 36th District state representative in Oregon.
