Bob Watt, president and CEO of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, has been named vice president of government and community relations at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Watt will join Boeing in January and report to Alan Mulally, president and CEO. Watt has been president and CEO of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce since 1995. He served for five years as deputy mayor of Seattle under Norm Rice and managing director of PhyCom Inc., a local software company he helped found in 1989. Watt was on the strategy teams of many community-wide efforts including retaining the Seattle Mariners, reviving downtown and passing the Sound Transit measure.
