Aventail Corp. hired Joseph White as vice president of North American sales and promoted Jeremy Freeland to vice president and general counsel. White will be responsible for strategic management and day-to-day operations of Aventail's North American sales organization. White was senior vice president of sales at Innuity. Freeland will oversee all legal matters for the company. He joined Aventail in 1999 and previously served as general counsel. Aventail is an extranet and VPN service provider.
