Seattle Parks and Recreation

The mayor's office appointed two new park commissioners: Kate Pflaumer, former U.S. attorney for the Western District of Washington and Sarah Nielson, grant writer for People of Puget Sound. Both have been named to a three-year term on the seven-member board which advises on matters relating to parks and recreation to the mayor, city council and superintendent.
