Tacoma Power

Tacoma Power will assume ownership and operation of Mayfield Lake Park in Lewis County at the request of Pierce County. The 50-acre park is located at the southwest shore of Mayfield Lake. The agreement is part of negotiations for Lewis County's entry into the Cowlitz River Project settlement for a new federal license to operate the project for the next 35-40 years. Tacoma Power also owns and operates Mossyrock Park and Taidnapam Park on Riffe Lake. Gale Bridges, a veteran supervisor at Mossyrock Park will assume the supervisory role at Mayfield Lake Park.
