Oregon Steel Mills appointed William Swindells chairman of the board. Swindells succeeds Thomas B. Boklund who held the position since 1992 and resigned for personal reasons. Swindells has been a member of the board of directors since 1994 and is currently chairman of the board of Willamette Industries
