Balaton Power

Daniel E. Pfeiffer has joined Balaton Power as vice president of operations. Pfeiffer was previously with Avista Corp. for the past 14 years, most recently serving as federal issues manager. Pfeiffer will head development and marketing of the company's Pisces run-of-the-river hydropower production water intake system and provide strategic counsel for the company's hydroelectric site development and acquisition activities. Balaton has offices in Boise and Vancouver, B.C., and specializes in environmentally compatible, run-of-the-river hydroelectric power production systems.
