Maranan
United Way of King County hired child advocate Paola Maranan to head its Children’s Initiative. Previously, Maranan served as public policy director for the Children’s Alliance in Seattle. The Children’s Initiative was formed in 1999 in response to a need for child-development programs, especially in the area of early brain development. The Initiative is funded through United Way of King County’s Community Safety Net Fund. Previously, Maranan served as public policy director for the Children’s Alliance in Seattle.
