Dr. Christina M. Surawicz has been named to the newly created position of assistant dean for faculty development at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Surawicz is a professor of medicine in the division of gastroenterology and chief gastroenterology at Harborview Medical Center. As assistant dean she will design, implement and coordinate faculty development programs for the School of Medicine.
