Port of Tacoma

The Port of Tacoma recently appointed Michael Adams as chief engineer/director of engineering. He will direct planning, design and construction of all major port projects. Adams was operations director of Parsons Brinckerhoff Programme Management. Adams retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1995, previously serving as director of public works for the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, and program manager for North Atlantic Treaty Organization Allied Forces South in Naples, Italy.
