Genemax Corp., as part of the restructuring following the reverse takeover of GeneMax Paharmaceuticals, named Dr. Julia Levy as chairman of the board of directors. Levy is joined by Ron Handford, Dr. Wilf Jefferies, James Davidson, Dr. Calvin Stiller, Alan Linday, and Grant Atkins as directors. Handford will serve as president and chief executive officer, Davidson will serve as chief financial officer and secretary, and Jefferies will serve as chief scientist officer. GeneMax, based in Blaine, is a biotechnology company specializing in the discovery and development of immunotherapeutics aimed at the treatment and eradication of cancer, and therapies for infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders and transplant tissue rejection
