Alaska Tanker

The Washington State Department of Ecology awarded the Alaska Tanker Company with an Ecopro award for exceeding the state's best achievable protection standards for oil tankers. Alaska Tanker Co. is a joint operation of Overseas Shipholding Group, keystone Shipping Co. and BP. The company manages a fleet of ten tankers that transport BP's Alaskan North Slope crude oil from Valdez to destinations on the west Coast and Hawaii.
