Marcon International

Marcon International, a marine vessel consultant and broker based in Coupeville, sold an ocean deck barge from Alaska Marine Lines to Island Tug and Barge Co., both of Seattle. Island Tug and Barge will use the barge, which once housed personnel involved in the Exxon oil spill cleanup, in service in the Puget Sound region. Marcon has handled the sale or charter of 22 vessels and barges to date in 2002.
