Seattle Weekly

The Seattle Weekly appointed Tim Appelo senior arts writer. In his newly created position, Appelo will focus on local and national arts and culture. Appelo was with Amazon.com, where he was editor for bestsellers, entertainment, biography, history and art. Appelo was a staff writer for the Seattle Weekly from 1978-1985, served as film critic at The Oregonian and has been published nationally. Appelo will report to the Weekly's culture editor, Mark D. Fefer who will continue to oversee the Weekly's arts coverage.
