Evergreen, Overlake

Evergreen Hospital Medical Center and Overlake Hospital Medical Center have entered into a joint organization and open-heart surgery program. The consolidated cardiac program will enable Evergreen to develop and provide open-heart surgery and elective cardiac catheterization services with the established Overlake program. Evergreen will provide a 20-bed intensive and coronary care unit with 20 cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons. Overlake is the only Eastside hospital currently offering heart surgery. Overlake provides an 11-bed coronary care unit; a 40-bed progressive cardiac care unit and a 25-bed cardiac medical short stay unit, with a staff of 22 cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons.
