Liz Klumpp was voted chair of the board of directors for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. Klumpp is senior policy analyst for Washington's Office of Trade and Economic Development. She will serve a one-year term along with two other elected officers: Mat Northway, manager of Energy Management Services at Eugene Water & Electric Board, treasurer; and Darlene Nemnich, business analyst and program manager at Idaho Power, secretary. The alliance also approved an additional $3.3 million in funding to continue BetterBricks, a network of services and information resources offered to Northwest architects, developers, building owners, engineers and building operators interested in energy-effective building design.
