UW School of Dentistry

Dr. Joel Berg is the new chair of the department of pediatric dentistry at the UW School of Dentistry. Berg is leaving a position as vice president of clinical affairs at Philips Oral Healthcare. He is a board certified pediatric dentist, president of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation, and a member of the Advisory Council for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Berg succeeds Dr. Peter K. Domoto, who recently retired after heading the department for 26 years. Dr. Douglas S. Ramsay will serve as acting chair until Berg assumes his new position on Feb. 1.
