Washington Restaurant Association

The new Seattle chapter of the Washington Restaurant Association will hold its first meeting at The W Hotel on Friday, Jan. 10, at 9 a.m. The new chapter will focus on marketing the hospitality industry regionally and locally, and on boosting Seattle tourism. People in the hospitality industry, including non-association members, are encouraged to attend. The Washington Restaurant Association, founded in 1929, represents more than 12,000 restaurant and foodservice outlets and a work force of 187,000 employees.
