The newly formed Seattle chapter of the Washington Restaurant Association elected Karl Bruno, director of food and beverage at The W Hotel, president; Richard Malia, owner of Ponti Seafood Grill, vice president; and Maureen Shaw, general manager of Ray’s Boathouse, secretary/treasurer. Scott France, controller of Pagliacci Pizza, and Tom Buckley, vice president of sales and marketing at Caffé Vita, were elected representatives at large.
