Tacoma's Auto Warehousing Co. has been named the recipient of the 15th annual George Francis Train International Business Commemorative award by the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce. Auto Warehousing is the largest auto processing company in the nation, operating 28 facilities throughout the U.S. The company has been based in Tacoma for more than 25 years. The Port of Tacoma and Auto Warehousing recently completed a long term lease and operating agreement that will enable the port to build a new $40 million auto terminal.
