Pacific Northwest Bancorp

David H. Straus has been appointed to president and chief operating officer at Pacific Northwest Bancorp. He will replace Patrick M. Fahey who will continue as chairman of the board and chief executive officer. The bank also promoted Joseph H. Ward to executive vice president and chief credit officer. Ward previously was senior vice president and senior commercial credit officer at the bank. In addition, Chris Rasmussen, president of Pacific Northwest Bank-Oregon, was named to oversee insurance and investment products for the bank, and George Brace, executive vice president, will head activities for the bank's branch system and commercial banking teams in Washington.
