Portland State University

Portland State University's School of Business Administration named Kristi Yuthas as the first recipient of the Swigert professorship in information systems. The professorship is endowed by the Swigert Foundation to support a faculty member in information systems. The university also named Melissa Appleyard and Pam Tierney as its first recipients of Ames professorships in management of innovation technology. The renewable appointments are for a three-year period.
