Digital Partners Institute and Digital Partners Youth completed its drive for the World Computer Exchange by shipping 250 donated Pentium computers along with monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners and replacement parts to Guatemala. The computers will be used to provide computer and Internet access for Mayan Indian children. Another shipment is being prepared for India. Shurgard Storage donated the container units used. The organizations plan another drive in May and will post information at http://www.digitalpartners.org/wceseattle/. Digital Partners is a Seattle-based nonprofit working to bring digital technology to bear on issues of poverty in the developing world.
