United Way of King County

United Way of King County and WIN 2-1-1 hired a director to head statewide efforts for starting a health and human service information and referral line. Thomas R. Page has assumed duties as 2-1-1 director for Washington state. He will develop the strategy and will lead the WIN 2-1-1 coalition. 2-1-1 is the national abbreviated dialing code for free access to health and human services information as well as disaster-related information. Page was executive director of the Municipal League of King County.
