The Seattle Foundation

The Seattle Foundation has awarded $210,000 in grants to Pratt Fine Arts Center, Northwest Chamber Orchestra, Seattle Jazz Orchestra, Seattle Symphony and Village Theatre as support for the county's arts organizations during economically challenging times. The awards are part of 34 grants totaling $895,184 in first-quarter giving from foundation's community grantmaking program. The Seattle Foundation was established in 1946 to improve the quality of life in the greater Seattle area.
