Federal Emergency Management Agency

Metropolitan King County Councilmember Kathy Lambert has been officially recognized by the Federal Emergency Management Agency for her efforts in launching Citizen Corps Councils in King County. Citizen Corps Councils are local volunteer groups organized under the USA Freedom Corps initiated after Sept. 11. Local councils help FEMA provide services to the community in times of emergency.
