Alderwood Mall has added Ruby's Diner, Build-A-Bear Workshop and Aèropostale as new tenants in the 270,000 square-foot expansion. Ruby's Diner is adjacent to the entrance of the mall's Food Court. Build-A-Bear Workshop lets buyers customize take-home stuffed animals. Aèropostale sells young adult clothing. Alderwood Mall's General Manager Jerry Alder says the expanded and renovated mall will have more than 200 retailers. Two new retail areas are being added: the 165,000 square-foot Village and the 24,000 square-foot Terraces. A new 80,000 square-foot, stadium-style theater complex is also planned. Completion is set for the fall of 2004.
