Rippe's

Joe Labatt has been appointed executive chef of Rippe's restaurant at Pier 70. Previously, Labatt served as lead line cook at Chez Gus in Seattle. Rippe's opened in April and is part of the Mackay Restaurant Group which also owns three El Gaucho steak houses and the Waterfront Seafood Grill.
