Avista Labs

Spokane-based Avista Labs received approval from the U.S. General Services Administration to sell its Independence 500 fuel cells to the federal government. The contract runs through April 30, 2008. Avista Labs currently markets three Independence fuel cell products for commercial and industrial back-up power in the 50-watt to five-kilowatt range.
