Public Disclosure Commission

Susan Brady was elected chair of the Public Disclosure Commission for the upcoming fiscal year. Brady, commissioner from Seattle, previously headed the five-member commission in 2000. Lois Clement, commissioner from Bellingham, was elected vice-chair, and Earl Tilly, from Wenatchee, was elected secretary. The Public Disclosure Commission was created by initiative in 1972 to provide public access to information about the financing of political campaigns, lobbyists expenditures, and the financial affairs of public officials and candidates.
