Brett Rogers, a certified economic developer, has been named associate director of the statewide network of Small Business Development Centers housed at Washington State University in Spokane. Rogers was previously with the Columbia River Economic Development Council as director of business expansion and retention. The Small Business Development Centers provide no-charge confidential counseling and low-cost training to small business owners. It is a cooperative effort of WSU, Western Washington University, community colleges, economic development organizations and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
