Dr. Douglas Ramsay has been appointed chairman of the Department of Dental Public Health Sciences at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He replaces Dr. Timothy DeRouen, who is now the executive associate dean for the School of Dentistry. Ramsay is a professor of dental public health sciences, with joint appointments in the departments of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry, and has adjunct appointments in the departments of oral biology and psychology.
