Vega-Atlantic Corp.

Vega-Atlantic Corp. of Blaine announced a merger with Transax Limited of Colorado. The company plans a name change to Transax International Limited and a change in business operations to development, acquisition and marketing of information network solutions for healthcare providers and health insurance companies. Transax develops and markets MedLink, a proprietary software system that allows insurance companies to connect to healthcare providers and electronically handle authorization of health claims in real-time.
