Washington State Lottery

Washington's lottery director, Anthony Molica, has been appointed to the top lottery post in California effective Sept. 2. Molica was Washington lottery director for the past 14 months. He was recruited by Washington from his position as director of sales at the California lottery where he had been since its inception in 1985. Gov. Locke has not named a successor. The deputy director is Katherine Kreiter.
