Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo has proposed the sale of a Pacific Northwest Bancorp branch in Ellensburg in order for the two banks' pending merger to be approved. The combination of Wells Fargo and Pacific Northwest in Kittitas County would exceed federal antitrust guidelines. The branch, located at 101 W. Eighth Ave., is the only branch in its network of 58 Washington and Oregon locations that Wells Fargo has proposed to sell. Customer accounts will be transferred to the buyer.
