Lithia Motors

Lithia Motors acquired the Spokane dealership Sutherland Mercedes, along with a California dealership in Santa Rosa. The Spokane store will be renamed Mercedes Benz of Spokane. Medford, Ore.-based Lithia sells 24 brands of new vehicles, and operates 77 stores and 143 franchises in 12 states in the western U.S. and over the Internet. The company was founded in Ashland, Ore., in 1946 and has completed eight acquisitions so far in 2003.
